Letter from the Executive Director

Influencing the paths that people choose ~ that is our work. We do it through the smile and love we share with a small child, the support of a tutor and the light that goes on when a child finds the solution to a math problem that's been bugging them, when a young person picks up that first paycheck or when a senior, who was facing hospitalization, is now able to remain at home and independent.

That has been our work this year, building those paths, with and on behalf of, our neighbors. This work is critical in a community with limited resources, but unlimited needs.

Through partnerships that we have continued to build, a Board that has continued to deepen its knowledge and talents and staff that has expanded in expertise, we have been able to expand the paths and make a difference in this community for those with whom we share this neighborhood.

Our youngest children, as well as, our members who have lived a great deal longer continue to come to us to build their assets, pursue their interests and/or join us in our work of community building.

While we are so proud of what we have accomplished, there is always more need and more work ahead of us and we therefore are pleased that you have been able to join us, if you have, and hope that you will join us in this important work, if you haven't.
